Cost comes down to three things: the size of the pool, whether it is chlorine or saltwater, and how much your yard drops into the water — an oak-shaded pool in Lynn Ranch is more work than one sitting in the open. Weekly service covers the visit, brushing and vacuuming, testing and standard chemicals. Filter cleans, repairs and acid washing are quoted separately. Estimates are free, and there is no charge for us to come out and look at the pool first.

The long warm season keeps water temperatures high enough that chlorine burns off quickly and algae establishes fast, and Conejo Valley yards drop a lot of oak and eucalyptus debris. Pools that are screened, lightly used or heavily shaded can sometimes hold a bi-weekly schedule, but weekly is what we recommend by default.

Brushing the walls, steps and benches; skimming the surface; emptying skimmer and pump baskets; vacuuming as needed; testing and balancing the water; adding standard chemicals; and a visual check of the pump, filter and heater. You get a note after each visit saying what was done and anything worth watching. Our weekly maintenance checklist covers it in full. Filter cleans are scheduled separately, usually three to four times a year.

Yes, on the same weekly schedule as chlorine pools, with salt level checks and salt cell inspection added. Salt cells scale up over time and gradually lose output, which is easy to miss until the water starts suffering. We watch cell condition and tell you before it becomes a water quality problem rather than after.

Both. We diagnose and repair pumps, filters, heaters, salt cells, plumbing leaks and automation systems, and we handle equipment replacement and upgrades. We work on Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, Polaris, Sta-Rite, Waterway and Zodiac equipment regularly. You do not need to be on a maintenance plan for us to take a repair.

Usually, and usually without draining it. Most green pools come back through a chemical treatment and filtration cycle over several days. Where algae has stained the plaster, or the water is too far gone to clear economically, a drain and acid wash is the faster and cheaper route. We will tell you honestly which one your pool needs before you commit to anything.
